CubicWilds

CUBICWILDS: Build. Explore. Survive. Automate.
CubicWilds is a full-featured browser voxel sandbox with hundreds of hours of depth. Raise a dirt hut on your first night, then return weeks later to find yourself managing a solar-powered automated factory, breeding animals on a crop farm, riding a camel across the desert, and collecting glowing Luna Moths by lantern light. Every playthrough starts from scratch in a hand-crafted procedural world that's entirely yours to shape.
This Is a Solo Project - Your Feedback Matters - Please Have Patience With Me <3
CubicWilds is built entirely by one developer, working on it piece by piece in spare time. There's no studio, no QA team, no bug tracker with 20 people on it, just me, a solo dev, and a genuine love for building this world.
That means you are an incredibly valuable part of this game's development. Every bug report, every piece of feedback, and every "hey this felt weird" comment directly shapes what gets fixed and what gets built next. I read everything.
Found a bug? Please report it! Drop it in the comments below with:
What you were doing when it happened
What device / browser you're on (desktop Chrome, mobile Safari, etc.)
What you expected vs. what actually happened
Even a one-line comment like "the furnace UI broke when I opened my inventory at the same time" is genuinely useful.
Have a suggestion? I want to hear it. New block ideas, mob requests, quality-of-life improvements, biome concept, nothing is off the table. The roadmap for this game is long and ambitious, and player suggestions have already made it into the game.
Enjoying it? Leaving a rating and sharing the link is the single biggest thing you can do to help. Word of mouth is how solo projects like this find their audience, every share genuinely counts.
I have spent 4 months building this game, for now, the game remains free-to-play as it's early beta form, if you really want to support me in the development of this game please consider donating, it will mean a lot and helps make the ongoing development of this possible!
Thank you for playing. This game exists because people like you kept coming back to it. 🙏
No download, no install. Open your browser and play, on desktop or mobile
(MOBILE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION).
You can also BUY the full game with a .exe launcher (no browser needed) - you will receive ALL updates for lifetime of game development.
🌍 Infinite Procedural World
Every world is a one-of-a-kind creation. Traverse 7 distinct biomes, each with their own terrain, flora, creatures, and secrets:
Plains — rolling grasslands dotted with wildflowers and the occasional village
Forest — dense canopies of oak and birch with hidden caves beneath the roots
Desert — cracked sandstone dunes, cacti, and rare desert villages where camels roam
Mountain — dramatic peaks of granite and jadestone, perfect for cliff-side fortresses
Tundra/Snow — ice fields, frozen ponds, icicle formations, polar bears, and penguins
Jungle — thick fern undergrowth, towering redwoods, parrots, and toucans
Ocean — vast blue expanses with coral reefs, kelp forests, seagrass beds, and hidden underwater caves
Beneath every biome lies a network of cave systems rich with coal, iron, copper, and Cubic Crystal ore. Dig deep enough and you'll hit bedrock. Dig far enough and you'll discover the rarest materials in the game, but you'll need the right pickaxe tier to reach them.
🔨 Deep Building System
CubicWilds isn't just about survival, it's a full creative sandbox with one of the most detailed building systems in any browser game. With 800+ block types, you can build anything from a cozy log cabin to a multi-story Victorian manor, a modern glass skyscraper to a functional automated factory floor.
Five wood species Regular trees, Oak, Birch, Pine, Redwood, and Willow, each with their own visual identity and a complete line of craftable furniture and structural pieces:
Planks, slabs, stairs, trapdoors, doors, fences, fence gates, fence posts, and signs
Chairs, tables, kitchen cabinets, TV stands, and boats, all in matching wood grain
A complete architectural toolkit:
39 roof block variants, pitched slope tiles, flat tiles, outer and inner hip corners in Oak, Stone, and Brick, so your rooflines actually look like rooflines
Colored windows in 5 colors plus clear, small and large sizes, open and closed states
Highwalls and gates in Wood, Stone, Iron, and Copper for fortifications and property borders
Bridges in four materials, spanning any river or ravine
Iron and copper chains, crown moulding in 6 stone materials, and asphalt roads for your settlement's streets
Train track system, straight, curved, and node tiles for laying your own rail network
Decorate every interior room:
Full living room setup: large couch, wide-screen television with TV stand, window curtains (open/close), weapon rack, bookcase, and a wall clock
Complete kitchen: electric stove, electric fridge, sink, cabinets in three wood tones, dinner plates, and glasses in multiple styles
Bedroom: large bed, dressers (open/close drawers), night stands in oak and stone, pillow, area rug, wall art, and wall stickers
Bathroom: quartz toilet, filled/empty bathtub, vanity sink, and towel rack
Study: study desk, plant pot, floor lantern, and wooden wall shelf
Stone fireplace (on/off), plushies (bear, cat, dragon, frog, penguin), wall-mounted art, and house plants
12 paint colors, White, Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Brown, Cyan, and Lime, let you repaint surfaces to match any style.
⚔️ Combat & Survival
Night transforms the world. The moment the sun sets, hostile mobs begin spawning in dark corners, cave mouths, and shadowy forests. You'll need tools, weapons, and armor to last until dawn.
Four material tiers drive your gear progression:
Wood → Stone → Iron → Cubic Crystal
Each tier unlocks faster tools, harder-hitting weapons, and better mining capability. Cubic Crystal — the rarest material — is required to mine the deepest ore blocks and craft end-game gear.
Hostile mob roster:
Zombies — relentless at night, but burst into flame at sunrise
Raiders — armored human enemies with melee aggression
Fangbeasts — fast, pouncing predators that stalk in packs
Spiders — wall-climbing ambush hunters that can appear from above
Skeletons — ranged archers that keep their distance and pepper you with arrows
Slimes + Mini Slimes — split into smaller versions on death, each one still dangerous
Moose and Bears (Black, Brown, Polar, Wolf) — neutral unless provoked, then dangerous
Earth Elemental — a 120 HP boss-tier stone guardian that can end a poorly prepared run in seconds
Three full armor sets:
Scout/Ranger set (Tier 1) — light, fast, early survival
Iron set (Tier 2) — balanced protection for mid-game combat
Cubic Crystal set (Tier 3) — maximum defense for boss-tier encounters
Potions at the Brewing Stand give you a tactical edge:
Speed · Healing · Night Vision · Regeneration · Earthblood Elixir (stoneskin)
Use the Enchanting Table to further enhance your equipment, and tackle the escalating boss progression system — a 70+ tier challenge ladder of increasingly powerful encounters.
🐾 Rich Wildlife
The world of CubicWilds is alive. Over 50 animal species inhabit every biome, each with their own behaviors, spawning zones, and interactions.
Sky: Sparrow, Robin, Blue Jay, Cardinal, Crow, Owl (nocturnal), Parrot, Toucan, Seagull, Penguin, birds flock and perch around trees and cliffs
Land: White-tailed Deer, Fallow Deer, Reindeer, Moose, Red Fox, Arctic Fox, Gray Fox, Squirrel, Chipmunk, Capybara, Pig, Cow, Chicken, Sheep. each biome has its own cast
Desert: Donkey (rideable), Camel (tameable with herbs, can carry storage)
Dogs: Tame a Golden Retriever or German Shepherd as a loyal companion
Water: Cod and Salmon swim in rivers and oceans, catchable by fishing rod — or cook them at a campfire for a health boost
Insects (15+ species, net-catchable):
Beetle, Grasshopper, Dragonfly, Firefly, Ladybug, Moth, Stag Beetle, Praying Mantis, Cricket, Luna Moth (glows in the dark), Hornet, Pill Bug, Walking Stick, Atlas Moth, and Centipede
Caught insects can be displayed in a Bug Display Cabinet, build a full museum exhibit of your rarest finds.
Boats: Six rideable watercraft — Oak, Birch, Pine, Redwood, Willow, and an Electric Boat, let you cross oceans in style.
⚡ Automation & Technology
Once you've mastered survival, CubicWilds opens a second game entirely. Unlock the Tech Tree through 8 research nodes and build an industrial empire.
Power Generation:
Solar Panels and Big Solar Panels charge during daylight
Small and Big Windmills spin in open terrain
Hydro Dam for river-based generation
Fuel Generator (on/off) for on-demand power
VoxBatteries and Large Capacitors store energy overnight
Distribution & Wiring:
Wire Splitters, Wall Plugs, Powerline Poles, and Junction Boxes route electricity to every corner of your base
Automated Production Lines:
Conveyor Belts in straight, curved, and slope-up/down variants move items between machines
Electric Auto Furnace smelts ore without you touching it
Electric Auto Crafter builds items from a recipe on demand
Electric Auto Sorter categorizes and routes items to the correct Storage Bins
Manual Hopper for simpler item transfer setups
Electric Asphalt Mixer and Paver for building roads automatically
Mining:
Small and Large Mining Rigs extract blocks from the ground automatically, set them up and come back to a full storage bin
Lighting & Lifestyle Automation:
Desk Lamps, Floor Lamps, Ceiling Fans, and Ceiling Lights all hook into your power grid. Flip them on from a wall plug or wire them up to an always-on line.
Electric Train Network:
Lay Iron Train Tracks across your world, then run Electric Train Engines with Hopper Cars, Flat Cars, and a Train Caboose between Train Stations. Use Electric Loading Cranes to transfer cargo automatically between your rail line and storage.
Vertical Transport:
Electric Elevators and Escalators (ascending and descending) for multi-floor megabuilds.
🌾 Farming & Food
Hunger depletes as you work and fight, keeping it topped up requires building and maintaining a real food supply.
Till soil with a hoe, irrigate with nearby water, and plant 9 crop types across 3 growth stages each:
Wheat · Carrot · Potato · Beetroot · Herbs · Poppy · Tomato · Onion · Sugarcane
Wild variants of most crops also spawn across biomes for foraging early on. Berry Bushes and wild herbs grow naturally in forests and plains.
Cooked food options:
Bread, Baked Potato, Cooked Meat, Cooked Fish, Cooked Salmon, Tomato Soup (with crafted ingredients), and more — each restoring different amounts of hunger.
Animals as a food source: Cows, Pigs, Chickens, and Sheep all drop raw meat and materials. Keeping a farm pen running means a renewable food supply without the danger of hunting.
Fishing adds another dimension — cast a rod into any body of water to catch Cod, Salmon, or — if you're extremely lucky — a rare Cubic Crystal, hidden in the depths.
